That was the one where John Wayne figured out the faulty exploder/firing pin in the Mk14 torpedo by dropping the nose of the torpedo from a crane. Gee, we could have lost the war without that guy!
Actually, the methodology wasn't so far off (it just wasn't John Wayne).
