If your SH3 ran with GWX 2.0 it should even do with 3.0...
What OS do you use?
If it's
WinXP I recommend to uninstall and delete all SH3 and GWX stuff; after that do a registry cleaning:
SH3 RegCleaner for WinXP only
Then try to reinstall from scratch...
