Go to your documents and open SH3 then Data, cfg, Careers, your user name, then open Careers_0
Got to the bottom of the page and work your way up until you seen these entry’s.

SubVersion=-1
Z01=12
M01=-100
A01=9
A02=9
S01=-100
S02=-100
S03=-100

Just check the entry’s are the same as these if they are then
Go to disk C and find your Ubisoft folder in program Files ? open it then open the data folder then the Cfg folder and open the Basic file.
Go to the bottom of the page and work up to you find this entry.

Just change the date as shown.
Just remember that sometimes a mod will change these settings so you will have to do the changes in the mod folder

Edit....if you dont have any luck then just Download my basic file on my mods page and install it last that should fix it for you.
