Extreme bad luck i'd say.

It appeared that a US sniper had joined the navy
cause in my last DID, in my 13th patrol with about 7% integrity, a DD snipershotted me from 7-8km away near the US coast in oily seas.
Spent the next 2 real life ours looking for my jaw somewhere on the floor.
