wrong....they appeared (or failed to appear) as representatives of the populace. Of people like me.
I just laid to rest a member of "the poplace." A WWII vet. That FINE, FINE man who earned every bit of respect HIS COUNTRY could offer him.
I was privledged to witness the 21 gun salute offered in his honor...by a very grateful nation. Of which I am a member.
Hard to imagine ANY scenario where your country offers similar honors to you.
