Have you ever played Doom 3, when you have that crappy flashlight to see just the center of the screen in dark areas, and then you see something ugly? I had exactly tha same feeling here
This was in a strait south west of Formosa. With the mission editor, if you open the Campaign/Jap_minefields or something like that, you will see the minefields. But i don't think the americans had that much inteligence in real life, you cheaters!
