Late 1939 in GW3 Gold (fantastic - thanks to all developers), I've just arrived at my patrol grid and some decent weather (after over a week of bad weather).
I get a radio message warning me thatt a large neutral convoy is in my sector. I identify it and track it's course - to avoid it, I have no intention of attacking. I realise I'm too near and dive to periscope depth to avoid the leading escort. I alter course to N (convoy at WSW). The convoy sails past except for the last escort, who sweeps around towards the north of the convoy and then runs down to re-join.
He gets too close and I deep dive to 100 metres. Obviously he hears me and the nasty so-n-so attacks! One depthcharge attack only and I have major damage! Before I can do anything about it - I'm dead.
Why be a neutral convoy if you're going to attack anything and everything?
Dashed unsporting, I call it, not playing the game
