I believe the black skins are in RFB, since I'm useing the mod and have the black skins. What you say looks like reflections, look too be just that. RFB uses the EE mod (soon to be the RE mod). This mod adds/ enhances reflections on the ship hulls and decks. I think that's what you're seeing
