I remember way back when "Star Trek the Motion Picture" came out in '79.
The same year as "Alien". Trek was ok, ( an extended dance mix version of an episode with a decent budget ) but "Alien" ROCKED!

Now, thirty years later, it's time to give up. Both franchises have been done to death; no, beyond death (AVP??? WTF???). These shambling zombies need to be decapitated.

I'd rather watch "It Conquered the World" again.
