Today my very first hard drive fizzled hard......
I never had a hard drive go completely kaput. I booted up my work computer and was sailing along for about 45 minutes then click....black screen and no worky
Tried to boot, no dice. Sorry, we do not detect C: drive
Attempted to boot off the disc. No dice. Attempted to run a CHKDISC....check what disc it asked? Roll me on the beach and call me sandy....toasted
So, off to Orific Depot for a new hard drive. Format the drive, load Windows add the billions of updates and add my companies own programs. Just a matter of 6 hours farting around with this. I'm still not done
Man, when a hard drive dies hard....it sucks.
