would it be possible to attach a sound to repair activities?

For example, when you order a damage control team to repair any given damage it would be nice to hear the labor of the men working to fix the boat.

The sounds of wrenches being dropped, banging of a mallet, sparks from electrical wiring etc etc perhaps even men discussing the work at hand.

im not sure what it could be tied into, but it would need to be done so that when the order fir silent running is given the sound would abruptly stop.
