2)GWX web site has everything the GWX team has done.
There are some mods by individual team members which have been developed to work with GWX, but they are not on the Web site. Check SW Cowboy's site.
3)I don't know. There are several sound mods out there; you could try them and see.
4)Many prior mods are incorporated into GWX 3.0 Gold; the sea floor mod is not as it is a real frame rate killer.
