I guess this is step is not necessary since I never made a tranfer manually and never got a problem with that. The game simply gives message that the base have changed to Kiel. |
Not strictly necessary but IIRC you will still be in Konigsberg on 2nd patrol

I like the idea of staying in the 7th (one career in each flotilla). If I transfer then I'm now in the 1st or 2nd (where I already have careers). If I don't transfer then I'm stuck in Konigsberg for my first patrol. Any other options?
