Default luckiest shot ever...

Hi everybody! I play sh3 with gwx 3.0 in march 1943 with a type VII-C and a strange and cool thing happened.
I have attacked a convoy west of iceland (2 ships sunk) and escaped escorts for 1 hour. Before surfacing my boat i always do a 360° look with the periscop and to my surprise i find a straggler from the convoy. It's not unusual as there is a storm outside. I decide to stay submerged and i soon discover that he's slower than me so i can manoeuver to attack him with my rear tube. I have a T-III in my tube 5, solution is ok ,LOS!

And after only 11 seconds i got the 'she's going down' and hourrah from the crew WITHOUT any explosion or 'torpedo impact'. I look into my periscop and.. the boat is cut in two and quickly sink! The boat is counted in my logbook. I was too close from my target ( a T-III sets at 30kn runs at 15m/s, so in 11sec it runs 165m which is not enough to activate the torpedo) but my DUD torpedoe did the job !

Anybody else ever experienced something similar???

(In 1943 with DiD 100% no map contact i can assure you that each boat sent to the bottom is a big victory)
