OK, you won't hear to much complaining about the EU from me (not any until now), yet this just pissed me off. The MEPs should represent the best EU has to offer and with this comes a certain set of values that they should uphold to be a shining beacon to all other parliaments. We can read in the article that there are those MEP who do not abuse the system yet even one of the 785 MEPs is too much. I am not saying that there is not corruption in national parliaments, yet how far we have come from the fathers of EU, who would be appalled by such a development.
