I hear what you're saying AVG. But yes, a Jimmy Carter on steroids part 2 is going to be a bad thing. It will be bad for the country. The Carter years sucked. I don't see anybody wanting to return to double digit inflationary policy, double digit unemployment numbers, sky high interest rates in double digits, misery indexes, long gas lines, weak kneed apologetic foreign policy, dangerous military procurement policy, and hazardous reductions in overall military capabilities. And Obama is setting a stage that will make the Carter years look good. Carter wouldn't have even proposed some of the things Obama looks to be poised to do. I understand what you're saying, but forgive me for not seeing the silver lining here. |

There is certainly no silver lining. No doubt. We did survive Jimmy and his brother Billy with his Billy Beer plus pissing on the runways of America. We will survive Jr League Government for the next 4 years. Will it be pretty? Nope
