The issue that DOES exist is the pervasive corruption of public officials on both sides of the aisle that allowed this crap to continue for so long with a wink and a smile. And we are now perfectly content letting our "professional politicians come to our rescue (with a problem they were instrumental in creating!)" by giving away billions of dollars of OUR money to the people that caused the problem.

FFS, Congress did a better job of regulating steroid use in baseball than it did our financial system. I wonder why?
