That was the genius of FDR, he could do that. And what you call a "syndrome" I call a winning attitude, one that served my country pretty well for the past 200 odd years.
In any case it's the concept behind the slogans that counts, not the ones someone used on an internet forum to describe them. The job of the President is to provide direction to the country not sit by impotently bemoaning fate.
