It depends on the officer really. Most will arrest you and tow your car at those speeds but some will only give you a ticket. Especially if they've been working a double shift and really just want to get home. When you arrest someone you have to drive them all the way to the prison, which may be in the opposite direction of your house, and do all the paper work. |
Gee, that's a real help! It depends on the officer! Sorry, but most would simply call for backup to take you away.
