As such, this mod can't cause any of the problems that you describe. It does sound like a conflict or an error in activating the mods.

When I loaded the SS206 USS Gar_Combo Fosskin_I'm Goin' Down mod via JSGME, it gave the following message, which may help the pros solve the problem.
"NSS_Tambor_O01.dds" has already been altered by the "RFB_v1.52_Patch_18Jan09" mod.
"NSS_Tambor_T01.dds" has already been altered by the "RFB_v1.52_Patch_18Jan09" mod.
"NSS_Tambor_T02.dds" has already been altered by the "RFB_v1.52_Patch_18Jan09" mod.
"NSS_TamborTower_O01.dds" has already been altered by the "RFB_v1.52_Patch_18Jan09" mod.
"NSS_TamborTower_O02.dds" has already been altered by the "RFB_v1.52_Patch_18Jan09" mod.
"NSS_TamborTower_O03.dds" has already been altered by the "RFB_v1.52_Patch_18Jan09" mod.
"NSS_TamborTower_T01.dds" has already been altered by the "RFB_v1.52_Patch_18Jan09" mod.
"NSS_TamborTower_T02.dds" has already been altered by the "RFB_v1.52_Patch_18Jan09" mod.
