This one not heatwave but i thought I'd throw it in anyways,It was taken just before Christmas in my front yard
He'd decided to wander across a main road during the evening peak hour on a Friday Night!! , A woman and some others stopped their cars to stop the traffic for him to get across ,then he wandered into my yard.
According to the parks and wildlife's koala unit , when I rang them , they'd had lots of reports of them wandering across roads in my area - Apparently it was mating season so they were wandering alot more than usual
Ive got a creek just behind my place and an unbroken line of conservation area's heading into the Adelaide hills , so we see them fairly regularly walking the eldest to school.
