I run Silent Hunter III GWXGold. Today I bought a new computer, an HP Touchsmart which unfortunately runs on Vista. I followed the instructions in the GWX 3 Manual re Vista but the game wont run. It will not proceed past the security bar.
When I tried to install GWXIII, the installation failed on the grounds that 'mods' were detected, yet it was a fresh install of SHIII patched to 14b
Its my favourite sim. I only bought this darned computer so GWX would work better on it. Can anyone out there help me ?
