The only external view I thought we had while submerged was the periscope. I'm not wasting the torps camera view to see ahead. Anyway, ya can't see sheet at night,specially underwater. LOL! Got my tower banged up being rammed by a warship once but I wasn't watchin my depth
I better read that manual more closer maybe find me readin specs, 2-boot
I liked the tip on the external views above water with the torp camera. Gonna try it out in my next patrol.

Anyone ever navigate thru that gap between the Shetlands & the Brit northern coast to avoid that mine field? Little risky, shallow, very shallow waters but a real time saver. You a dead man if caught in the middle by plane or ship. Course I've been thru it about 5 times already but maybe my luck will run out
