Other than the boats, gun director, and rudder, nothing seems to use the AO map at all, was this intentional?

The 0x3abb8ade4bd65f25 material (NBB_Kongo_C.tga) on the "CabBak" needs to "move up," it maps wrong as is. The same is true of both funnels. The NBB_Kongo_C.tga texture is the middle of the 3 materials listed for the cabbak, and both funnels (cos1, cos2). If the materials are moved "up," they show properly.

Also, your Unified Render Controlled has the LODs set to 0.0.

BTW, I put your AO map onto the stock Kongo, and it works fine, but does not show up on your dat within S3D. Odd.

Ah ha! Your hull, funnels, masts, etc have only Map Channel 1, so that is why they show no AO map. They are also not using the N map I think.
