The problem is not only the lack of food, but also the ever growing population. Although it is good to hear of such successes we should have no ilusion about the impact. Twenty more years of growing population and the problem is the same again. We should try to at least keep the population of this planet at it's current level (even better reduce it by a big percentage). Only then such improvements wil realy make a permanent difference.
