Stopping the patrol and starting a new one is the only way to implement U-Tankers and Milk Cows into SH3.
Until GWX4 is released for SH4 - this will be the way things are or us.
In GWX2.1 and 3.0 you do not get renown for visiting your assigned grid, nor do you lose renown for skipping out on it.
