Depending on how you did your search - some messages may have a different header, or lead in so to say. Maybe even a typo.

I used JSGME to install the mod.
In the case of the "enemy naval losses at sea" message that was received, I searched RL_E for the
ship named in the message. Nothing was found. So, it's still a mystery as to where that message came from.
