Never heard of a mirror directory. I think a lot of folks have problems because of the "User Account Control". I have this de-activated and there is only one account on my computer... me, as administrator. This computer doesn't ask me for permission to do anything and allows me to install anything I want. It's just like running XP or Win 98. |
Good call-that UAC switch fixed most of my Vista and game software conflict problems. "Run as Admin" is also useful.
