Early in the war, I hunt both sides of this line, finding unescorted large ships and some convoys heading for Bristol. Often I have found a large tanker escorted by another tanker (or a large cargo). Yum.

Watch out for the continental shelf, especially in daylight. And watch for planes in BF14 and especially BF15.
This is an awesome area in the early war. I followed your line and found the Nelson.
