I'd prefer "USS Executioner" myself, Executer sounds too much like Executor.
And we'd need to refrain from naming our CVNs silly things, like USS Indefatigueable, right Britain?
For my money, the worst carrier names (and ship names in general) came from Japan. Or at least, they do if you speak a language that doesn't revolve around pictograms. "Increasing Joy" and "Flying Dragon" are terrible names for carriers.
