I have just found something that should be noted for your use. In doing night attack tests, the lock feature will work as required IF the target is within approximately 110 degrees of the subs bow, starboard or port (about 55 degrees to one side or the other). However, if your trying to lock onto a target beyond this frontal quarter relative bearing the lock will still drop out after a few seconds. This tells me two things.

1. Night visual sensors will need to be looked at to fully correct the problem.
2. There is a "bearing" parameter that only shows up at night that is not completing a 360 degree sweep.

So, sorry for not putting out a complete fix. I realize this is just temporary due to RFB working on a near patch, but I wanted to make sure you all know there is a cravate to the fix for now. Since I'm not an expert on these visual sensors I didn't expect to find all the possible trouble areas. Guess I will before I'm through.
