LOL, fixed that for you.

Propaganda is a marvelous thing.
I shall give you a reason why the 360 is the most played console in this current gen. Piracy! I have many friends who refuse to buy a PS3 because you can't download the latest games from Torrents. That is the nail in the 360's coffin. Developers are already moving from the 360 to the (as yet) uncrackable PS3.
While Subman1 alludes to the PS3's assumed failure as a games console in the US, the console itself has seen a 60% rise in sales worldwide during 2008 compared to the same period in 2007. Not too shabby if it's only a BR player.
Regardless of how the PS3 makes it into homes, it is there and will be used for movies & gaming alike. As I said before, I believe the PS3 was a shrewd way to win the HD format war, and I remember your thoughts on that particular subject.
Another thing about your link there. The heading "PlayStation 2: Most Played Console of 2008", um what was the life cycle of the PS2? About 10 yrs, which coincidently is the same projected timescale for the PS3. What's the old adage about the Tortoise & the Hare?
So, I don't really find the link you supplied interesting. Partly because it's only based on the viewing/usage of polled US citizens (which has never been a PS stronghold) and partly because it's just too early in the PS3's life cycle to tell.
