I just happened to be looking through the forum and caught your request. I'm the one who made an Optics mod for you back in April. After a bit of looking I found it on a backup CD. I've uploaded the file to FileFront, it can be found here under the name
MaxOptics3. This version was for SH4 stock, patched only to 1.4. If you need a version for 1.5; or to work with another mod let me know. I can make one up for you.
