On the right hand side just by the fire torpedo button is an overlay that pops up for navigation. Is there any way to disable that?

Also, when I am in the sonar I still hear the ambient noise (crew muttering/someone writing/hull noises) even when I order rig for silent. This to me does not make any sense. I even pause and then resume and I still hear it. I might as well crank up the gramaphone while I am at it! Any chance of some quiet in 3.0?
