SDK is what it says it is. A Software Developement Kit, IIRC, a set of tools to modify the files of a certain game.

Alot has been invented by the community by now to replace the never released SDK. Tools that make files accessable and makes it easier to work with them. Sure, they arent maybe as perfect as the SDK tool, but they get the job done.

Looking back the years I've been here and seeing how the modding has developed in SHIII, I'd say, the only thing holding the modders to achieve their goals isnt the SDK, but the know-how, or to put it the other way, the help from the devs themselves.

And ofcourse, there's the .exe modding that is a bog no-no, no idea how much would be achieved if Ubi would allow it.

Anywho, from my perspective, I dont see that the SDK would revolutionize the modding that much. :hmm:
