BF13 can be very profitable in the early war years. I once sank 5 merchants there for about 30,000 tons. That was a good 3 days.
Watch out for MTB's though. They frequently patrol in pairs there & can be a real pest sometimes.
NW of Tobruk can be pretty good as well. I hit & sank 2 11,000+ ton large merchants within 2-3 hours (game time) on my last patrol there.
