OK, I upgraded to a Gato class when it was offered. In the weapons upgrade while in port I see that both stern and bow 4 inch guns are available for about 500 renown. I already have a stern gun in place (3 inch). I select the 4 inch for the bow and everything seemed fine. The gun was indeed now on the bow. However, when I encountered a huge european liner I like to catch them with the guns, so I order the gun manned and nothing happens, I check my crew roster and there is no more crew for the deck gun, nor a slot for them. WTFO? Manning the gun myself I found that it does not re-load very well now either, so when i get back to port I put the stern gun back in place hoping that my crew would return, but no... So I just started over at a previous save. Anyone else have an issue with moving the guns from stern to bow? The game does not seem to like it. I have 1.5 installed.
