Been away for a long time...

Hi all,

I've been away from here for a long time. Any DWX type mods around?
Better get reading.... :o

lwami is pretty much the sole mod available for dw. The only thing it doesn't improve on is adding new ships etc.

Do many of you guys use it?
Is it recommended? - any problems with it?

many use it, maybe the majority of the players

I'm skeptical of that. Someone did a survey a while ago and it showed only a minority. It also indicated that most people played missions solo.

That may be the case, however I would urge folks to use the mod. It definitely adds much to the sim. And multiplayer is the way to go. Solo missions are ok, head to head combat is where it's at!

Main reason why I dont use the mod anymore is because torpedo's hit CM's soooo easily - its almost a joke.

This is basically the only reason why I prefer the lwami mod.
