Why am I given patroll routs that can't be done?
I am asked to patroll BD91 its on the US Coast I don't have the range to do it even at ahead slow. I am in a VIIB Sub.

ahead slow is not the most economic power setting for your boat, your better off with ahead one third.... nevertheless, that's entirely besides the point: the real issue is that Bdu is just wack, ignore it if it's simply impossible to acomplish.

sorry, double post

It's a one way ticket for Bernard. :D

Request a change - in other words, change the patrol grid yourself.
- If before the patrol, use SH3Cmdr or edit the relevant PatrolArea entry in Patrols_0.cfg. - If mid-patrol, save/exit the patrol (no need to exit SH3 though) and edit the PatrolArea entry in the relevant save folder's .psc file (it's a text file). Just remember that Patrol 5's save files (for example) are stored under folder titled 4. |
Remember when the BdU asked me to patrol inland England....... I was like......oooookay:o
|
Yea LOL they will give you patrols hundreds of miles inland at times (shrug).

It is just drunken orders from BDU. I was given coordinates to patrol a tiny piece of a square as the rest of it was land. I guess I was to look for skiffs to sink or something. I went and did it anyway. I would just return to port with what I can get as far as tonnage. I have used all my torps before on the way to the assigned grid and sent a radio message. BDU told me to return even though I did not reach my grid. Oh well, I got some renown but not all I guess.:damn:

I got given the Solent to patrol once - it was then that I finally realised that Onkel Karl hated me...
