We are lucky that Allies havenīt developed this yet..
I wouldnīt want to be near with my Uboote
http://www.riemurasia.net/jylppy/dis...lbum=11&pos=11 ...quite impressive... Prost! CT |
:o :o :o
Somehow I doubt a U-Boot will be surviving that. Quite impressive. |
iirc, they were testing an explosive device, and did not realize that immediately below was a sunken ammo barge still containing tons of munitions. The black spume was from the sunken vessel exploding.

Interesting :hmm: ... didn't think explosions could work like that in water... I mean, all that dust and smoke? how can there be dust coming from water? shouldn't all those particles come out wet and hence to heavy to float in the air?... well, aparently not... curioser and curioser :hmm:

If that was a depth charge...it sure would put a damper on the movie being held in the aft torpedo room tonight:o
|
WOW! :o what the hell was that? one mother of a depth charge ?
|
maybe they blowed up somekind of underwater barrikade?:hmm:
yes, it was guite impressive:D |
As I already stated above, the black 'smoke' was from sympathetically detonating a sunken ammo carrier that they weren't aware was there. The original charge then detonated the old, sunken munitions, which appears to have thrown up a lot of mud, muck and silt as they exploded on the sea floor.

Nice. Never seen a colum of water that high before.:o
