Fast 90 Basic targeting method... something wrong with the tutorial?
Hi,
In Wazoo's tutorial (http://www.paulwasserman.net/SHIII/), the perpendicular course to target (the C2 Cargo in the Torpedo Tutorial) was measured to be 326 degrees. However, if you set your U-boat bearing to that course, won't you be behind the target since it keeps on moving forward? Shouldn't you extend your target's course line ahead (56 degrees in this case) and place your protractor on a an extended point on the line, so that you intersect the cargo? |
yeah theres a couple of things that dont add up in the tutorials but there a great place to get the idea of whats going on...dantonec (i think) also has a tutorial on other approaches just use there pointers and adapt what you learn for you ...i now have 3-4 different ways of tracking and sinking ships by using all the methods shown...and adapting them to how I figure it out...havnt missed a contact yet...most torps hit the targets..if there not duds...
