Do to legal reasons I can't watch this item, would've loved to see it... could anyone post screenies for me?

Ducimus 10-23-06 04:17 PM

I'll bet it's fake, IE, some reproduction.

bigboywooly 10-23-06 04:22 PM

Wondered the same myself
Still be a cool thing to own
It wouldnt have had much use if real - U547 wasnt commisioned till June 43 and only made 3 patrols

2 ships sunk for a total of 8.371 GRT
1 auxiliary warship sunk for a total of 750 GRT

I wonder if they were printed in more than just 1940

thank you very much...

Now that is how I would like my recognition manual to look like in SH3, although it would be way too big this way.

Anyone know how they looked in the Silent Service?

I'm living in Austria, and eventho I can't see a single swastika, stuff like this recognition manual is seen as an item that relates to the Nazis and is therefor banned for purchase as a private man in Austria, I'm pretty sure a museum or so could buy it without problem, but when you own this in private, your seen (at least by the law) as glorifying the Nazis. Crap IMHO.

I've got a EK 2nd Class at home, from one of my ancestors, dunno which tho.
Let's say I want to sell it over ebay, I guess the police would knock on my door pretty soon.

I didn't mean the game Silent Service... you know, what they used on the REAL WW2 US-Subs. I'm not too familiar with the designation of the US-Submarine forces in the WW2, anyone care to enlighten me, what they were called?
