Convoy reports in TGW
I am half-way thorugh my first patrol (1939) using TGW and I have yet to receive a radio message on where there is a convoy.
When playing the vanilla SH3, I always received information about a convoy and then it showed up on the map so I could plot an intercept. |
What do you mean by radio message ?
The ones where you have to press M to read or a contact report that appears in the text screen at the bottom ? |
They don't start unil you're 3/4 done with your patrol.

Contact reports appear at any time depending on how close you are to important contacts
And yes the number of contacts was reduced from stock IIRC as in RL the nav map wouldnt be covered in convoy contacts There is a convoy route pull down map in the top left corner with the main convoy routes - you will still have to hunt its not like a bus route where just sit and wait for one to come along but it gives you an idea of where they are |

I can't find all that you said
I looked at the top left corner and found a watch, a sheet with speeds on it and that's all.

Right to left there should be 4 tabs: the first two dealing with speeds/distances/times, the third friendly minefields and subnets, and all the way at the far left is a tab that shows a full map with convoy routes and enemy aerial coverage. That last one might not be readily apparant, just hunt around at that corner and you should find it. |
