I recently started looking at DW again,and was very disappointed at the quality of some of the 3d models.The trafalgar is too long and thin,the Duke frigate looks like it is made of lego and that is just two I have looked at.Compared to the models in SC they are very poor.Perhaps this could be addressed in a future update.

Does a modded trafalgar exist?The current one is not very good,to put it mildly!

I use some of the old SC Mods - they work without a problem.

We did a lot of new models for SCXII etc. Try asking Xab and Ramius but I'm sure they should work for DW.

They do Mac, I even put a pack together taking many of the updated submarine models from SCXII and altered DW database so people could have the new eye candy.

Thomas however sent me a PM asking me what the hell I was doing as I hadn't asked any of the other model makers. In the end the pack got pulled and only my models were left in it. A shame really. After that it was a case of getting it done by the back door by telling people to get the SCX mod themselves do all the adding of models themselves too.

Any chance of getting these models posted somewhere we can get them?

Nope Traffy was by Deep Six.

TO be honest I'm a little disappointed. When I made up the pack I didn't take credit for any that weren't mine and Deep Six hasn't been around to ask and didn't answer e-mail nor did Thomas until I released it. Since people who have the motivation could take them from the SCXII mod I didn't see the big deal.

I'll think about it but you could get the SCXII mod and do it yourself by extracting the mod to a temp folder then finding the traffy model and importing it yourself.
