Got it, thanks.

GT182 10-14-06 06:42 PM

Thanks, looks great. Will add it in as soon as I get back in base.

panthercules 10-14-06 07:54 PM

This looks really cool, as always :)

One question - is this just a graphics add-in that should be safe to do while on patrol, or should I wait till I get back to port to do this one?

bigboywooly 10-14-06 08:12 PM

No its not a graphics mod its a DAT replacement so best wait till in base

Hi Anvart,

thanks a lot - it works well . Just wonder why the original plarforme.dat from SH3 (date of september 2003) the attribute "R" was set.

I*ll post a link to this thread in the german ubi-forum.

Is this mod compatibile with NYGM 2.2 ????

mw2000 10-17-06 01:02 PM

This is a great mod. Thanks Anvart

Thanks Anvart for more this great mod!

But I noticed one problem: my game CTD when I load and exit the game without make anything more (it's not necessary enter in museum, career or SM). Just load and exit. Then CTD.
I tried also with a stock 1.4b game and the same.
And notice that the game works well, no in game CTD.

Can you test it too?:hmm:

Best regards,

Rubini.

Hi, Rubini.
Yes, I have found a unique situation leading to CTD.
It is an output from game right after its loadings.
After loading mission, company or museum of any failures it has not been noticed.
It occurs that SH3 engine badly works with references to object (Type11/1).
I have applied in mine mod the nonconventional (adventurous) decision: has attached Dummy
object (Type 4, child) to the reference to other object (Type 11/1, parent), instead
of to most this object (Type 4). The reason - a short code and elegance (I think).
Thus at loading game the conflict memory allocation is possible, that is shown
at clearing memory at an output from game (right after loadings of game).
After loading of directly mission or etc. the reference to object is replaced
with object and the conflict disappears. If I am mistaken tell to me.
It is possible to make mod traditional way.
For this purpose it is necessary to copy all used weapons for platforms from a file
guns.dat into platforme.dat file. Thus there will be no conflicts.
But it is not beautiful.
:D
P.S. Sorry, my english is

Thanks for the reply Anvart. So, seems that my system is not the culprit!:D
Do you intend to fix this anyway?

Rubini 10-23-06 10:06 AM

Many thanks Anvart!
And sorry the delay in reply. My weekend was very busy with family obligations!!:D
Downloading now!
Comments later!
