Serious Error caused by device drivers
I have received this the last 3 times trying to start Sh3. I use SH3 Cmdr, but ofcourse it isn't caused by it I don't think. When I try it again after he instant computer reboot, it works fine. My drivers are up to date. Here is my Microsoft Error Report :

I had a conflict with drivers for my nokia phone. It caused the game to CTD when half way through loading:damn: I had to delete the drivers, and re-install SHIII to get it running. It took a while to install all the mods back in as well (I've added in many of the extra ships the modders have created)

I'll post my Specs in case someone can see a potential problem.

If your system reboots too quickly for you to read the error message you'll need to disable Control Panel > System > Advanced > System Startup & Recovery > Settings > Automatically Restart. |
I see one thing that is possibly a problem.... Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+. SHIII has problems with 64bit processors.

I have never used anything else than a 64 bit AMD with SH3, and had no problems.

 Ok, I stand corrected, thanks.
He has enough memory but just barely so. It could be a memory problem. Don, if you have any more memory try adding that to you computer. 1gb is good and will help a great deal. SHIII is a memory hog. ;) |
Was having similar issues 8 months ago, and had to completely remove my vid drivers and reinstall them.
Turned out that something in the video software got corrupted, and caused all kinds of problems. |
