SH3Patrol version 1.5 now available
 

SH3Patrol version 1.5, can now be downloaded (file SH3Patrol1_5.zip) from:

Unfortunately this latest version was accidently omitted from the new NYGM_TW_2.2 release. Users should download the new version which fixes a couple of minor issues raised by users of the earliest version.

Briefly, the purpose of SH3Patrol is to improve the use of U-tankers (milkcows) by allocating randomly a time of 1-5 days for docking, and subsequently providing a grid patrol area instead of 'NULL'. It will also supply grid patrol areas when proceeding from German ports that are not the U-boat's base, and will allow you to change your patrol grid while actually at your U-boat base.

Full instructions are included in the zip file.

I've tested the strange-looking download link, and it works.

This is very cool. Thank you for making this available seperately from the supermods. Now my logbooks will look so authentic and I will have a place to go! woohoo! I always thought when they were telling me to go to "null" it was german for "hell". Now I feel like I have goals. Thanks!

I'm curious to what the issues were...that were fixed. Were the patrols being assigned in pacific or something?

and how come noone else replied? this is a nice fix to an annoying bug!

Might be because the latest version of SH3 commander detects milk cows and automatically adjusts the date for docking. I guess a lot of people use it.

I tried Commander but didn't feel comfortable with it making changes I didn't ask for.
