No messages.
 

My game crash while in patrol, now when i play when I send or recieve messages they dont show up. Nothings there. What file do i have to edit to fix this?

Also i heard awhile back their is a file to make it easier when sinking ships. Takes it back to sinking ships like the stock game - im talking about torpedo hits, deck gun attack. Im running GW1.1a.

EDIT: sorted out the ship sinking. but still stuck on the messenges

Come on guys someone must know how to get the messages to show up. What file should i be looking for, is it as easy as just copying it from the sh3 dvd into the game folder. The game is still playable but very dead when i cannot read a message!:damn:

I want to avoid doing a reinstall.

Can't help you with the messages problem, where did you get the file for the ship sinking etc, that you mentioned you found?

Couldn't find the file for ship sinking but i remeber their is one out there. Makes sinking ships to how the stock game was. All i did was edited the Guns damage using "Timetravellers mini tweak" program.

IIRC correctly the zones.cfg may help you there
The messages are in Data\Campaigns\Campiagn
