Hydrophone "stuck" on 0 degrees bearing

Apologies if this has come up before and/or been dealt with elsewhere, but for no reason at times whilst in patrol, my hydrophone operator will not search round the dial and if I jump into his seat I cannot rotate the hydrophone manually. Is there a fix for this? It's weird because it seems to be intermittent and occurs for no reason I can discern. I am on "Real U-Boat" with 100% realism no additional ad ons.

Did you stay under a depht charge attack or a plane ??

i had the same problem in my last patrol

i was caught in the surface by a plane, it drop some depht charges while i was diving and some compartments where damaged and flooding, after the repair work the status screen was clear , only with a some hull porcentage down , but no systems destroyed .

But when i was in a hidrophone test at periscope depht looking for a convoy i noticied that the hidrophone was stuck at 0 degrees and without signal, cliking some where in the hidrophone station appears a text saying that the receivers where destroyed. now i have to do the convoy attack without hidrophones.
:shifty: :nope: :dead:

i donīt know if is the same problem or is a game bug.

could be nice a warning about this in the damage status screen

This happened to me awhile ago. I had dual installs( NYGM & GW) with dual SH3 Commanders and forgot to rollback a couple times and cross pollinated both versions badly. Had to completely reinstall both all over again and now it works fine. Currently have 3 installs with 3 Commanders with no repeat of problem.

Never had this happen since game release so can't really say it's a game bug.
