Brave Flak Gunner won't accept Wound Badge
 

My brave wee Flak Gunner decided to take on a Wellington Bomber and got wounded in the process..Got him back to Port ASAP. He received a Heroes welcome and when time came to pin the Wound badge on him, I receive an error caption stating this was not the man that was wounded ?! As a process of elimination, I went thru the complete crew and the same message. The badge is languishing in my Desk Drawer. Anyone else experienced this ?

NYGM 1.01 Tonnage Lite and yes, I threw the Doctor overboard many Patrols ago and replaced him with a Repair man..little did I know..

if your using SH3 Commander you can award him in the 'actions' section 'manage your crew'...if not then throw the ungrateful ba*tard over the side :lol:

Charge him and send the mungrel to the Russian Front !

Have never had someone get wounded on patrol but have had two die.
If any of the crew get wounded how do you use the medic?

Fraid' I don't use Commander so he has 2 choices.. either walk the plank [when we reach Grid 'mid-Atlantic'] or off to the Eastern Front !

Put the wounded crew in same compartment with medic ... usually one of the crew quarters .... medic will fix him up good enough to return to duty

To award the badge, he still has to be wounded when you return to base. If he healed the game won't recognise the award. Another one of SH3's "features". :)

He did perk up a bit when I promised him leave and a crate of Heineken if he would just stop bleeding all over me ! I've used the Wound Badge as a coaster for my cup of tea.

Get SH3 Commander, mate!
